Informational learning vs. transformational learning

There are two kinds of learning. To most public educational systems, they are known as informational learning and transformational learning. When these learning styles are applied in Aliveworld, they can be called head learning and heart learning. Informational learning is the standard lecture to notes to tests or exams and grades. It is based mainly on memorization. Transformational learning is about empowerment and finding answers for ourselves. It is a slower process, and much more profound. One might say that the process is the product. This is one of the many reasons your free Aliveworld membership is so valuable. You have access to many of the components that transformational learning uses. Informational learning is left brained. Transformational learning is right or whole brained. Use more of your brain to create the lasting change you want in you life. Stay tuned for more on transformational learning.

The learning experience varies for each of us, many find the written word a great source of information and learning,. for me this is not the case , I much prefer experience sound, sight and physical connection to learn. Alive world connects me to both styles. The act of typing my intention locks it in and then completing the tasks satisfies my need to do to learn a new behaviour, and then marking it off with a visual graph to show my progress in practices.
